Autumn hit us overnight here in New York, something that seems to be consistent but surprises me every single year. The dramatic weather change has been quite welcomed, though, because I've had the chance to reach deep into my closet for some of cold(er) weather favorites and also put some new instant favorites into rotation!

The grey weather was the perfect excuse to make a stop at Egg, a great café in my neighborhood for fresh, organic comfort food. After brunch, I took a little stroll around the neighborhood. Fresh flowers outside bodegas are an instant pick-me-up when the weather is gloomy.
