A Week Into July (Already?!)
Is it just me, or is this summer blowing by far too quickly? I guess I can't complain too much; summer is hardly my favorite season, especially in the muggy, sticky streets of New York City. That said, I love any excuse to be outside - whether it be enjoying oysters outdoors at Miller's Tavern (they're $1!) to having friends over to drink wine on my roof or take that all too infrequent trip to the beach... But, really? It's already a week into July? I can't handle it! Life has been excessively busy - mostly with work and projects - but I'm fortunate to get to mix business and pleasure more than the average person. (P.S., if you're not yet decided on a career, I seriously, seriously urge you to choose what you love as your vocation).

One of the best things about summer = berries are in season! Berries for days!
The views from one of the suites at The Trump International... Columbus Circle is exceptional from above.
And what does one do at The Trump International...? Enjoy the lush interiors and snuggle up with Vogue Italia and Vogue Paris Collections with Bouchon macarons.
The Brooklyn Flea's Smorgasburg is one of the best things to happen to my neighborhood since I moved here. FACT. Red Hook Lobster Pound Connecticut Lobster Roll + People's Pops Rhubarb-Elderflower Popsicle = Quintessential Summer Eats.
Roof time + picnic blanket + friends +En Vogue, Sadé, and Aaliyah = perfect summer evening...
Miller's Tavern. One of my favorite spots this summer! Don't even ask me how many times I've been lately....
Breathtaking views on 4th of July, from my friends Christian & Brad's Independence Day Party at the Mondrian Soho.
4th of July Fireworks!
More Brooklyn loves.... Blue Bottle Coffee (serving some serious San Francisco nostalgia), and the current issues of Brooklyn Magazine and The L Magazine that I worked on recently!
