Athens & Istanbul

my trip was incredible. already, i'm sorry to be back. it was really spectacular- and istanbul, especially, was like nothing i had experienced before. being in the mediterranean, with its closeness to my own family's culture, was pretty indescribable. i loved istanbul. the rich, vibrant colors, textures, and flavors of the city were breathtaking. and the architecture. the architecture. the fragrant teas and sweet baklava. the modest, incredibly warm and welcoming people. i'd love to go back. and i think i will, some day.
