Fashion's Night... In!
Okay, confession time. I recently worked on a little project for QVC's new show Inspired Style (my segment is airing soon, which of course I'll be sharing here), and until they reached out to me - I never, ever knew that QVC actually had cute fashion options. I had always thought of QVC as a network that sold Christmas sweaters and As Seen on TV products, which maybe has more to do with my lack of TV-watching more than anything, but I didn't expect to visit their site and find so many things I actually wanted. So when they reached back out to me again with a look book for their Fashion's Night Out event (with new collaborations from Nicole Richie, Jennifer Hudson, and special one-off pieces for FNO from Isaac Mizrahi Live, Kenneth Jay Lane, and more,) I asked to borrow some pieces for fashion week. Full transparency here, folks: sometimes I borrow clothes for events. It's real.
Their site can definitely be overwhelming (I mean, there aren't many places where you can buy both a Dyson vacuum or Tarte cheek stain in one fell swoop), but there are tons of cute pieces; I'm kind of dying over Rachel Zoe and Nicole Richie's lines -- and I know I'm starting to sound like an advertisement, but no - they didn't pay me to write this. They did, however, let me curate a little shop based on my look! How cool is that? Okay, now I'm going to lose myself somewhere between the jewelry and clothing sections, again...
I was particularly in love with a daring cobalt blue cashmere dress (made by Isaac Mizrahi, whom you may remember I'm deeply in love with). Also, not to be vain, but ever since I dyed my hair red - bright jewel tones look kind of amazing on me. (I'm kidding.) (Not really; they do look amazing.)

All clothes were borrowed from QVC for FNO!
So... now that it's finally Thursday and FNO is here, what are your plans?? Are you going out to celebrate, or staying in and taking advantage of online deals?
