good riddance, 2009!

best of 2009: friends, family, brooklyn, the gossip at terminal 5, the shake shack shroom burger, florence & the machine, my new home, my first real jew-mas, all things gaga, kitchenware, my new-found propensity for an incredible pair of high heels (see below).

2.
worst of 2009: marriage equality failures, the continuing economic decline, the iran election and all of its aftermath, death in the family.

3.
mini-resolutions for 2010: spend more time outdoors, read more, cook more, revisit french studies, advance with my creative projects, be more crafty, be better at saving, master the art of homemade macarons, take a real vacation (2009 lacked this),
