Pretty Please?

The opening of "Pretty Please?" a group show co-curated by Soo Cha and Devin McGrath opened last night at Gallery Bar on the Lower East Side.

In these desperate times, people are resorting to increasingly desperate measures to get themselves out…out of depression, out of debt, out of loneliness, out of self-loathing, or out of responsibilities. Whether it be money, a break in fame, even an ultimate end, what is it that you desire? What lengths are you willing to go to achieve the impossible, improbable, or even to obtain the unobtainable? When you’ve reached your breaking point, what will be your salvation?

“If I could ask for one thing in my life, what would it be? Can I have it… pretty, please?”
