Rafaella SS12 + Style Council

Last week, Zandile Blay, Jenny Altman, and I joined Rafaella to kick-off the debut of their Spring 2012 collection. It was a huge honor to be selected as part of their Style Council, and the three of us had loads of fun playing dress-up with the mannequins in the showroom, and turning the workwear-heavy collection into fun, trendy looks that could take a working girl from day to night. My favorite pieces were silky midi-length micro pleat skirts (in stripes and polka dots), voluminous button-down tops, and a vertical striped maxi-dress (above) inspired by creative director Richard Metzger's trips to Greece. Best part? Almost all the pieces in the collection are priced well under $150, and the sizing goes from petite to plus. I love a brand that thinks inclusively!

If you're not near a department store that carries the brand, don't worry: Rafaella is available online!

I want one of these in every color!

Thanks so much to Rafaella and HL Group for including me!
