retro nylon

this is such a trip. i think i started reading and subscribing to nylon magazine in 2002, when i was an angsty 16-year-old and the magazine was only a toddler, at 3-years. in the past 7 years since i started reading nylon, the magazine has evolved TREMENDOUSLY, and i've developed a total love-hate relationship with it. it's like those friendships that you know are over, you've grown apart and have less in common every day, but you have memories of the good times and can't let go.

nylon scanned the entirety of their premier issue from 1999. it's kind of amazing to see how much things have changed.
