RIP Alexander McQueen

It must be some kind of sign that I found one of my favorite McQueen tops this morning after it has been missing for months.

The Daily Mail confirms that Alexander McQueen committed suicide today at his home in London. This is a tremendous tragedy for the fashion world. I rarely refer to people as geniuses, but he absolutely was. He invented the new in a world where there's seldom anything new or unique. He brought a very theatrical quality to every collection, and forced people to look at fashion in a new light.
