Growing up in Southern California, I was always taught the importance of sunglasses: not only are they a perfect way to accessorize and transform a look, but they're a necessity to see clearly on a sunny day and prevent the pre-mature aging that squinting can cause. I'm definitely a bit of a hoarder collector when it comes to great frames, and I love balancing out my collection with more classic, wear-with-everything frames (like this black cateye), and more wild-card, statement frames (like this pink, jeweled number, or this heart frame).While my collection of sunglasses is wide and varied, the selection from kate spade holds a special place in my heart for possessing that balance of classic, quintessential styles and quirky, whimsical ones -- there's something for each occasion and each personality type.
