Tokyo | Day One

Oh my goodness. Between the long travel, the insane time difference, running on virtually empty, and the fast (albeit calm) pace of Tokyo, I'm completely BEAT after my first day!! Let me say, first, that this city is absolutely beautiful. It is immaculate, beautifully designed, and there's such an incredible attention to detail in nearly everything. It's hard to imagine that I've only been here a day when I've covered so much ground and seen so many different districts!

Asakusa, Asakusa Market, Sensi-ji Temple

Ueno, Ueno Park & Garden, Kan'eiji Temple

The night ended in Shibuya - which is amazing and I'll definitely be returning to over the next couple of nights! You'll have to wait to see pictures of those famous Harajuku girls.
