Skin Is In
As I inch closer to 30 (with open arms, I might add), being conscious of my skincare routine has become increasingly essential. At this point in my life, I've known enough people who have had serious skin-cancer scares, are battling melanoma, or living with other skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema, to not take my largest organ (skin!) for granted. There's no better time than now, November, to celebrate National Healthy Skin Month. That’s why I’m partnering with Dove to encourage you to re-evaluate your skincare routine.
Especially as the temperatures drop and I feel the effects of the dry air on my arms and legs, I try my best to up-the-ante on hydration. Enter Dove Deep Moisture Body Wash, I have been using this for years in tandem with their Beauty Bar and deodorants, and it is seriously essential to my fall-and-winter skincare routine. I confess that there are days when I don't lotion up, being on the go without time for my lotion to sink in makes it a bit of a challenge, especially since I hate the feeling of having oily or sticky skin; when I lather up with some Deep Moisture Body Wash, it quenches my skin’s thirst big time. I also like adding a couple drops to a bath to add a luxurious, moisturizing feel. Unsurprisingly, this bad boy won an Allure Best of Beauty Award for “Best Moisturizing Body Wash,” validating my years of use, in addition to being the #1 Dermatologist recommended brand.
I have sensitive skin in general (something I've stressed in my skincare and beauty posts) and the improved Dove Body Wash formula contains even more of the brand’s gentlest cleansers. What I love about the body wash is that it makes my skin feel softer and smoother after just one shower, something that was immediately noticeable after I got off the plane in New York last week!
