Beirut at Northside Festival

It really starts to feel like summer in New York City when you can see your favorite bands playing just around the corner from your home... You can feel the energy in the air, especially as the rain clears up to make for the perfect evening out with the city. Oh, Zach Condon, you have a special place in my heart. I'm convinced this boy (and his music) could make anyone fall in love. Anyone.

It's not too late to get tickets for the Northside Festival! There are some amazing bands playing the rest of the weekend - including Y.A.C.H.T. and Guided by Voices and Oh Land (later tonight!), and about a million more that I guess I'm no longer cool enough to know because they're all new to me...!
