Candy girl. Chinatown. San Francisco dreams.

I miss San Francisco so much...! More pictures to make me long for the West Coast.

I started off my second day in San Francisco with brunch at La Boulange, where I met up with my friend Betsey, a former Bleecker street neighbor who has since relocated to San Francisco to be with her fiance, Toby. They're a gorgeous couple. I wish I had more pictures of them and less pictures of the food!

After brunch, Marc took me down the street to Miette, a gorgeous candy and pastry shop in the heart of Hayes Valley.

The cupcakes looked beautiful, but I did not get a chance to try one.

The one thing I did allow myself to try at Miette was the freshly spun cotton candy. The flavor of the day with brown sugar, sprinkled with Himalayan salt. It was incredible!

After Miette, we headed north to Chinatown, wandering around Grant street and the open markets on adjacent streets and having dim sum huge banquet hall.

(Psst, to complement the nippy Bay Area weather, I finally got to wear my Topshop leopard blazer, along with my cheap monday dress from ConventNYC.)

PS. About that Marais USA Giveaway... I used the random number generator to select a winner, and that winner is Gracie O of Wool Gatherings & Miscellany. Congrats, Gracie!

All photos in this post were taken with a Canon 5D with a 50 mm lens.
