This week has been difficult, it's true, but I really want to thank everyone who chimed in over here. I haven't had time yet to reply individually to each comment (though I will), but the support and love and generous kindness was really overwhelmingly amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Is September Actually Lurking Around the Corner?
Indeed, somehow, it is. My fall wishlist keeps growing, and I'm punctuating my days by taking in little indulgences of the seasonally-appropriate-fashion variety. This pair of boots landed in my mailbox, and good god - I'm obsessed. I love to splurge on good shoes, but it feels so damn good to find an amazingly on point and REASONABLY PRICED pair. $50 on these bad boys feels like such a no-brainer. This necklace is still on my "to buy" list, and I couldn't help but bite the bullet on this jacket yesterday, (after all, NYFW is around the corner). Also, these Loeffler Randall booties - though they're definitely a pair I'll actually have to spend some time saving up for. The matching bowler isn't half bad, either. And how about these sunglasses via Net-a-Porter for another budget-friendly option?!
BaubleBar's Newest Collaboration is Pure GLAM
I don't remember exactly what my first introduction was to Katie Rodgers of PaperFashion, but in the time since I first became acquainted with her, it has been such an enormous pleasure to see her portfolio and work develop so impressively, and see her recognized for what is truly honest talent. Her newest collaboration is with costume jewelry megastore BaubleBar, and it is gorgeous. My favorite pieces are this earring trio, this crystal necklace, and of course - Katie's inimitable, bespoke watercolors made for the collection!
