Going Sleeveless

There are (sadly, though I think a lot of people can relate) a lot of reasons why I avoided sleeveless styles for so long -- most of which had to do with how other people made me feel about my broad shoulders or the size of my arms. I spent so many years wearing cardigans and long sleeve shirts no matter what the weather was like or how badly I might have been overheating. The process of learning to love my body didn't just liberate me emotionally -- it also liberated my wardrobe. But since my underarms had always been hidden, I never really had a reason to pay too much attention to my 'pits, or the residue that a lot of my deodorants left behind. It continued to be a pain-point until a few years ago, when Dove Dry Spray first launched, and it became my holy grail. I was so devoted to it that it kind of accidentally became my signature fragrance. True story: it has a really light, clean scent (not overpowering at all), and when I started using it my friends kept asking me what perfume I was wearing... only to not have been wearing any at all. It took me a while to realize they were actually commenting on the smell of the Dove Dry Spray Beauty Finish - and a few friends of mine (like my bb Lisa) followed suit and picked up their own Dove Dry Spray, too (#influenced). It's probably not surprising that I consider a couple spritz' of Dry Spray to be part of my morning beauty routine -- right after I apply that last swipe of lipstick.Dove Dry Spray provides 48-hours of odor and wetness protection, with all the skincare benefits you can expect from Dove. It dries instantly and clear - so I've never had to worry about an icky white residue or not feeling fresh since. And ever since I ditched my arsenal of cardigans, I really feel like I can wear anything with confidence.
