It's a Jewel Thing

In blogger terms, these photos are old. I took them early this summer when I was out with Lydia Hudgens. My hair doesn't look the same (it's longer, and more of a "natural ginger" hue, these days), and it certainly isn't warm enough to be wearing shorts and a light leather jacket! But, the sentiment still stands: sometimes the outfit is all about the jewels. With an all-black canvas, I love to go crazy with accessories, and the blingier, chunkier, and more statement-punching, the better.

This necklace, to this day, is still one of my favorites. I'm sure that I've posted it before, but it's just one of the most fun pieces I've ever brought into my accessory arsenal. It's futuristic and geometric but also feminine with a requisite dose of sparkle -- all things I try to incorporate into my style as often as possible, (though the sparkle shouldn't surprise you!)
