{STYLE} Holiday Dressing

It's no secret that I prefer my shopping to take place in the comfort of my own home, usually while I'm luxuriating on my couch under a fuzzy, faux fur blanket and a cup of hot cocoa in my hand, (this may or may not be a dramatization of my real life). Even some of my favorite stores (like Topshop) are too much to handle in person; something about the way-too-loud music and the throngs of tourists in Soho just take the fun out of shopping. Of course, the British high street is too much for me to resist - so I take to the internet with a keen eye and a dictionary to help me crack the code on all those fancy names for fabrics. Plus, I've watched enough Extreme Couponing on TLC to know there are coupons for clothing, but they certainly don't exist in any physical form that you can carry into Topshop or H&M, as far as I'm aware.

Enter the world of the online promo code. I'm no stranger to them, as you may have gathered from here and here. It is one of the very, very best things about being able to shop online. Huntress & gatherer that I am, you can not just comparison shop while toggling between tabs, but find discount codes to garner deep, deep savings. When RetailMeNot challenged me to put together a holiday look for $150, I knew I'd have no problem getting it done.

Skirt from Topshop (608851261237406 for 10% off your entire order), H&M Black Jersey Top (0560 for 20% off one item), Gap Wool Moto Jacket (GAPEARLY for 40% off, plus I redeemed Gapcash, making the jacket less than $40!) Pink Necklace and Chandelier Necklace from BaubleBar (CYBER20 for 20% off sitewide), Shoes by Loeffler Randall (already had these! A little cheat), Clutch from eBay
