{STYLE} My AVA&VIV Fall Look Book!

I'm so excited to share the Look Book I created with Lydia Hudgens featuring the AVA&VIV fall collection from Target! Lydia came out to LA a couple of weeks ago so we could shoot some of my favorite pieces and looks from AVA&VIV's new collection, with some seriously statement-making prints and great silhouettes. It was really exciting to watch this collection come to life - from Gabi, Chastity and my Target Headquarters visits last winter, through the feedback that we gave them, to the reception and comments from all our readers to the initial launch, and finally - to seeing the physical clothes up-close, (I even saw some of the fall pieces in store this weekend in Minneapolis!)

In creating and planning my look book, I wanted to showcase some of my favorite things to do in my hometown of LA, from visiting the LACMA, to picnicking and hiking at Griffith Park (just a stones-throw away from the Hollywood sign), while showing the many ways that the AVA&VIV collection can satisfy different parts of our lives. It's not just a workwear collection, or just a party collection - there are looks that are perfect for date night, or to look comfortable-yet-put-together for travel, for business meetings, or for brunch out with your girlfriends; it may not be a collection for everyone, but it's a collection that can work into your existing wardrobe in a way that is fun. And, on a totally selfish note, the fall collection is seriously up my alley - with gorgeous watercolor floral prints, tons of blush pink, leather-look details, and the most comfortable jeans that have come my way as of late.

My girls Gabi & Chastity also shot their own takes on the fall collection, and we all got together to shoot a fun video in New York with super-stylist Zanna Roberts-Rassi, (catch it over at A Bullseye View). We each have really different takes on style, and incredibly varied body types, so it was so much fun to see how we each wore our own stand-out pieces, (and also to see where our favorites overlapped!)
