Leaving on a Jet Plane

Neither of my parents are from America, let alone my hometown of Los Angeles, so I truly feel as though the urge to pack my bags and explore beyond the freeways and concrete I grew up in was engrained in me from before I can even remember.  Continue...

I've been incredibly lucky and privileged to fill up a couple of passports with stamps from across the globe; Mexico to Spain, Australia to the UK, Brazil to Turkey, Japan to Russia. It seems like while on one vacation, I'm already planning and thinking about the next, (as soon as I was in Savannah, tickets were already booked for subsequent trips to Los Angeles and New Orleans).
  

The most important of travel essentials.... 1.) Your travel documents, (duh). 2.) Giant sunglasses to conceal your jetlagged eyes, (remembre there's usually a 2-piece limit on carry on bags... badum bum, dad joke). 3.) Massive, cozy scarf to interrupt unpredictable weather patterns and cabin air control.   In true Nicolette form, I'm anticipating my next trip, and already making a running list of what to pack.What's next on your travel list?
