Friends & Adventures & Ice Skates in Meatpacking

I have to admit, sometimes being over three-thousand miles away from my family can get aggravating, and while I'm lucky to have parents and family that I'm really close to, the reality that I can't see them whenever I want can be a little hard to deal with at times. Fortunately, I have a really fantastic adoptive family in New York City - built on the foundation of incredible friendship. I've said it before, but I really am blessed to be surrounded by talented, creative, hard-working, and loyal friends, and I appreciate all the more when: times are tough, work is strenuous, the weather is shit, the cold makes me want to hibernate but they still pull me outside and lift my spirits. Cheesy, right? But it's true. A few hours with my favorites can fix everything.
