With Chanukah and Thanksgiving just over a week away, the "holiday season" is starting earlier than it ever has in my life. I can't believe how quickly they came up (though this seems to be a recurring theme in my life), but here I am, rushing to buy gifts for my nearest and dearest in just eight days - while also juggling my pre-holiday workload, a million and a half deadlines, and hosting Thanksgiving dinner next week. I think my "black Friday" will most likely be spent in bed, sleeping away the Tryptophan-via-Turkey, and clicking all the hell over the impending Net-a-Porter sale (my favorite shopping event of the year).
My gift-giving philosophy is generally to give what I would want to receive, an approach that somehow works out thanks to my skincare-product-loving-Dad, (like Diddy, he enjoys moisturizing his situation). I've rounded up 50 gifts under $50 that would be happily welcome in my own life anywhere from the first night of Chanukah through New Years (or before or after, cause let's be honest, I love presents), and many of which are on my "to gift" list for close family and friends - mom, sister, and BFFs are all covered in this budget-friendly list. There's a range of pieces that could either work as "stocking stuffers" (in quotes cause, well, I've never had a stocking to stuff), or as the center stage of your wrapping.
