{STYLE} Flower Power

I first spotted this embellished floral dress at ASOS' heart-winning Curve preview event several months back, where they generously offered each of the guests their favorite dress. This one was mine, from Salon - a higher-priced subdivision of ASOS that uses luxury fabrics and embellishments. Wearing white and light colors has been a continuous challenge for me, but I couldn't say no to this swing dress with bright and shiny baubles sewn along the neckline. When this landed in my mailbox, I couldn't wait to unwrap it and wear it nonstop. It's been worn with and without the belt, to pool parties and to cocktail parties and to dinner dates. Hair up with a silk scarf wrapped around my head, hair down... What I thought would be reserved only for "special occasions" ended up being my new favorite piece in my wardrobe. Do you ever get into routines with clothing like that, where you wear the same piece non-stop? I'm in lurve.

I'm going to be on QVC's Inspired Style with Amy Stran tonight at 1:00 AM EST (er, okay, technically it's Friday morning)! In this episode, Amy Stran came over for a closet raid and grilled me on some of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe!
